Rules

Keep it simple. HangoutRO is a small community server, so a few common-sense rules are all we need.

Play fair

1. No third-party bots or hacks. Use the built-in Auto Hunt (the Auto Hunt window with a rented device) if you want to hunt while away; anything else gets the account banned.
2. No exploiting bugs. Found one? Tell a GM. Abusing it before it is fixed is a ban.
3. No real-money trading. Items, zeny and accounts stay in the game.

Be decent

4. No harassment, hate speech or spam in any chat channel or character name.
5. Do not impersonate staff. GMs will never ask for your password.
6. Kill-stealing and MVP griefing are settled first by talking. Repeated griefing is a temporary ban.

Economy

HangoutRO takes no donations and sells nothing for real money. Cash points come only from playing: the attendance calendar, MVP kills and the Cash Exchange in Prontera. Selling cash, items, zeny or accounts for real money is a permanent ban.

Account safety

Your account is your responsibility. Set a pincode in game, do not share your password, and use an email you control so you can recover it. Staff cannot restore items lost through account sharing.

Penalties scale with the offence: warning, temporary ban, permanent ban. Staff decisions are final, but you can always ask for a review through Support once logged in.
